Position/Title :  Assistant Manager/ Manager – Operational Risk Analyst

Required Qualifications (Post Qualification) : Masters / Bachelors degree (16 years of equivalent education) in quantitative discipline (Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance and Mathematics) from HEC recognized institution.

Candidates holding CFA/FRM certifications will be preferred.

Job Description:

• To develop operational risk and other related polices and ensure timely annual review of all risk policies.
• Engage with risk owners and the business team to promote risk management practices and culture across their respective areas.
• To develop the following:
  • Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
  • Internal loss data base & incident management
  • Key Risk Indicator (KRI)
  • Heat Map
  • Risk Register
• To develop reporting template for RCSA, Internal loss data base & incident reporting, KRI, Heat Map & Risk Register
• Support the GH Risk in the reporting of operational risk to the relevant committees
• To record, monitor and investigate risk events / incidents.
• To support operational risk analysis in line with the Operational Risk Framework e.g. quarterly risk reviews, annual risk register reviews, updating risk appetites and validation of operational risk.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Relevant experience in FI of Operational Risk
• Knowledge and understanding of Operational Risk Management
• Knowledge and Hands on with Advanced Excel, VBA
• Candidate must be proactive, highly organized and can multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
