JOB OBJECTIVES

The incumbent holding this office acts as the junior-tier resource and is responsible for assistance in execution and operational domains of the audit department. The incumbent is responsible to draft the elementary paperwork and ascertain compliance with laws / standards / regulations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Determine audit scope and develop annual plans.
• Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
• Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
• Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Preparation of annual audit plan and getting it approved from the Audit Committee.
• Finalize and issue the reports after completion of each assignment

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum: Bachelors or Master’s degree in accounting / finance or relevant field or CA/ACCA finalist

Minimum Experience:

04 years of relevant experience in Audit domain in multinational, public sector or large commercial organizations of repute. Experience in Oil and gas sector will be preferred.
